What makes this display exceptional is that Will is a first time displayer in the Junior category at a national show. All of the display is what he independently researched and amassed with his own ingenuity, perseverance, and artistic ability. Pretty nice array of Edison-inspired items costing Will no more than five dollars, since most of the objects were added by scrounging, climbing, digging or asking utility employees for donations.

Included in this display: Edison battery jar; newer type of Edison battery jar found in Florida; Edison battery oil bottles; Star embossed insulators found in Tennessee which were made for G.E. use; a GTP insulator traded with a Canadian collector (Edison sold newspapers on the Grand Trunk as a youth); old advertisements (electric fans), 

examples of Locke insulators from 30s through 50s era when G.E. owned Locke;

two different G.E. "pellet arrestors" found in northern Mississippi and used on railroad power circuits; and some high voltage warning signs.
